There is a non-refundable processing fee of $80.00 USD. On-line applicants through Princeton Review may pay by credit card, electronic check, money order, cashier's check, or personal check. Otherwise, we are unable to process credit cards and electronic check payments. If you plan to pay by a method other than a credit card or electronic check, please make your check, cashier's check, or money order payable to "Caltech - Graduate," and mail the check or money order with your completed application to the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies. Do not send cash through the mail. Applicants living outside the United States may also submit an international money order or a check drawn on a United States bank.

Fee waivers will be granted to students who can demonstrate financial need. To request a fee waiver, please complete the fee waiver form and send it to the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies. Applicants will be notified via email if the fee waiver has been granted.
