External Fellowships

Caltech encourages applicants to seek financial support from external sources. Attempts to do so will be viewed favorably by the graduate option admission committees. Some of the most common fellowships/scholarships available to graduate students are listed below. These fellowships and grants require direct application to the granting agency.  Some fellowships (NSF, NIH) may require training in Responsible Conduct of Research.

Important Information for New Fellowship Recipients - Please read.
